I am honestly really upset. I have been looking forward to this date for so long and the last three days for me already haven’t been good.
He informed me that he invited his friend in a spur of the moment to join us on our very expensive date. I’m talking like $300 steaks. He didn’t ask me before if this was okay and doesn’t seem to understand why I’m so upset. This restaurant is romantic and it would seem out of place to have a third person there, especially when we don’t go on that many dates.
When we normally hang out we fall into the same routine which is why date nights alone are so important to me— they help spice things up.
How do I get him to see where I am coming from and have him un-invite his friend? He seems insistent since he has already invited him. I just feel like there’s so many other times and places to have his friend join us, this date not being one of them.
