I'm a autistic person who's genuinely curious of peoples opinions. Also this is my first poll so I hope it's not to bad.

Yeah! I don't mind learning about it too if we hit it off

I'm also autistic so yeah if I'm compatible why not.

No, I'm not comfortable. Maybe as friends or something like that if we find common ground. I'm not sure I'll have the patience if their my partner no offense

I have friend/families who I grew up with or know so I get the gist of it, but I'm not to confident I know enough to make a decision.

I have friend/families and I've done enough research about it that I'm confident I can understand. I'm not afraid to learn more if needed and see if we get along.

I have no idea how the disorder works and I'm afraid I'll end up hurting them.

I’m also autistic and wouldn’t mind it as long as it’s not too much. Like if hers was close to mine I’d be fine with it, but not if it’s more like my aunt-by-marriage’s nephew. It’s kind of hard to talk to him or be able to relate to him, because he’ll just say half a sentence and then walk away to do something else or talk to someone else.


It’s not that big of a deal considering that he’s just a kinda-relative that I only see a couple of times a year, but I think it would be frustrating to have a girlfriend that did that.

I’ve dated an autistic person. But it honestly depends. Some are mild & some are more up there on the spectrum.
In my experience, if you are a understanding, patient & kind person, it’s just like dating any other person.
But there are some unusual challenges you may face that your not use to dealing with in a relationship, but it’s all worth it when they are worth it.

Depends on the level of autism. I have a friend who's high functioning so I could for some, but not for others.

absolutely I have depression and when I was in the "nut house" ( it's ok I can say it because my name was macadamia while I was there) I met some of the nicest people with all kinds of mental problems

I besically want a Turing situation, where my partner coexists with me but on a purely social level
He did it because of his homosexuality, me it's closer to asexuality with a sapiosexual sprinkle tossed in
