Am I Right To End Things With This Guy?

Question

1. He approached me and I told him I wasn’t interested. He persisted.
2. After agreeing to being friends he ghosted me.
3. A couple of months later he requests to add me but then blocks me after I ignore him.
4. I reach out to explain I have mental health issues which is why I was cold. He unblocks me and we talk again.
5. He takes hours (at least 4) to reply to my texts. I try to arrange for a phone call and it takes us days before he finally calls me at 10pm.
6. He asks if I can be his girlfriend yet when we haven’t been out on a proper date. He suggests a proper date (yet to happen).
7. he's unclear - he doesn’t tell me how he spends his time or what he’s doing everyday. I don’t know why he responds to my texts at 4am and when I asked he said “he zones out”.
8. He keeps asking me about marriage and referring to us like a couple. He sends hearts at the end of texts. Feels weird.

I feel like he’s playing with me. What do you think? I was thinking to text him tonight and end this - whatever it is.

Honestly, he's messing with your head.
One of my female friends took the bate just like you, she also explained she had many issues including dating. His reply was ok, and he claims her as his girlfriend even though she said she wasn't ready. He is treating her right for now. But I told her if he breaks her heart I am breaking his legs. Not a threat a promise. I haven't met him yet, but from what she is telling me there are tons of red flags. All I can do is let her get hurt because if I tell her otherwise, I am just trying to control her life. Honestly, I dont know what to tell you, you are a sweetheart and men will take advantage of that. You studied law, you know what to do. Its not romantic or a beautiful experience, but it will protect your innocence. I think you already know. You don't need validation from strangers. Why waste your time on someone that won't give you the energy? You deserve better, he is playing games. I understand why he is, the question you should be asking is not if I should end this.
The question you should ask is what do I want? What truly is most important to you, it sounds like an emotionally abusive pretty boy. I wish I can help you spiritually, but then again I guess you and I may never get what we want. Good luck

This is worrying behaviour it seems like be doesn't know you and has little interest in doing so. But also just seems to be playing you about and you definitely deserve better than that.
. just think about what you need for you. If it's causing stress and issues for you breaking odd the communication with him maybe for the best.

I don’t recommend telling a guy about mental health issues too early because some guys will use that as a weapon against you, it seems he is suggesting marriage to get sex and not necessarily because he wants to marry you, I would block him and never acknowledge his existence again.

Yeah he’s either not who he says he is or has a girlfriend or something regardless of all that though he’s not really trying to make time for you and his excuse is he spaces out or whatever. I'm gonna be honest with you but the sounds like a mess from the very start. he asked you to be his girlfriend when you guys haven't even been on a date, let alone you can see that he is already not committed by the way he doesn't respond, I don't think you are being "played" but you're allowing yourself to be played. If someone doesn't take you seriously then don't give them any more energy, there are people out there that will give you all their attention.
