What are the chances of guys coming back?

We talked for 2 years. Def had a connection and admitted to really liking each other and making each other happy, had that attraction and bought each other gifts. But we were long distance.

4 months ago things weren’t working as I wasn’t mentally in a great place and we decided after 1.5 years of waiting we would try to be friends. He told me he met someone else a couple of weeks later and pursued a relationship with her.

im moving to close the distance. For work. For church and for me.

what I’m asking is if his relationship doesn’t work, or if when we meet feelings come rushing back or we’re attracted to each other what are the chances? Would you go back to that person if ur current relationship ended if you really liked them but didn’t work out due to distance?

and yes I’m doing my best to have self improvement and be happy. I am dating other people and I am happy. I’m just working a night shift and my minds curious:)

In a situation where you are both single, these things are no longer problems and you have feelings for each other, what are the chances?

Pretty darn high.
I'll move it down to more likely than not just to be safe. Usually always some drama. But given your premise odds seem solid. Of course that assumption itself is less likely.

Hey sorry. I would say it was more of a situation ship. More then friends but not officially dating.
We admitted to really liking each other but where waiting for the borders to open so I could go see him.
I’m Canadian he’s American.

Right now he is currently in a relationship with someone that leaves closer to him. We had a situation where I lied to intentionally hurt him when I wasn’t mentally 100%.
We decided to take a break and then he met someone closer by so we ended things so he could pursue that since the borders still weren’t and tech still aren’t open.

I will be moving near him for work. And I will most likely see him. He said he’s fine with that as long as I don’t freak out or go crazy if I see him with his current girlfriend, and we remained friends.
(Im moving for work irregardless)
My hopes are when we meet it will either solidify what I’m thinking which is we will both really like each other since Ik he finds me attractive.
He is in a relationship tho so I’m not going to try anything or do anything I am respectful.

That said if that changes and he ends up single with both of you having emotions, of course the chance is good!

He told me he plans on getting engaged to her and that she’s the one.

I’m going to try to remain friends. I think he does like me still but I don’t want to interfere with that relationship or be someone’s second choice. I’ll let u know if anything changes! Right now we’re not really talking so :/
