Boyfriend constantly talking to baby mama?

How often should you talk to your baby mamma/daddy if you’re not together? It doesn’t bother me that my boyfriend talks to his baby mamma at all. They should talk and kinda have to. I totally respect that and have no problems with that. But the fact that they text all day every day kinda bothers me. No idea how to even say something tho. I don’t want to seem like I’m crossing boundaries. How often is an ok amount and how much is too much?

I mean, she is the mother of his child. So she's going to be part of his life for the next couple of decades or so

Like I said I have no problems with that at all. I expect that and understand that. I even want that. But to text ALL day non stop back and forth texting everyday? I don’t seem to understand what about the kids needs to be discussed that often.

A couple of times a week is fine since they have a child. Your boyfriend is over doing and is still probably having sex with his ex.

Moreover, this the problem with dating people that have kids, the ex is always going to be in the picture.
