Dating, how do I start?

So I find myself single at 45 …. Scary !
I’m a widow and after two years, I feel ready to give myself a chance at love again.
Super scary, not going to lie lol
i hear so many horror stories about dating ….
what is your best advice on how to start?
on line sounds like it would be a good idea but at the same time, there’s so many apps, how do you even chose the right sites?
Is a matchmaker better or worst?

Start with a free, well-known dating site or app. Create an honest profile that shows who you are and start writing with people. You'll soon get an idea of what to look for in the profiles you match with and when you're ready go have your first date out in the real world - coffee in a public place is a classic.

Probably a dating site. I wouldn't recommend clubbing at 45. Look at some of the dating sites as their demographics vary a lot between sites.
