I was wondering if I should shoot my shot or become her friend first?

I am interested in this young lady I rarely know. So one day I approached her as she was walking and we had a small casual conversation. She was constantly giggling, but I wasn't telling no joke. I walked her to building and before she lefted I asked for her snapchat. She asked me what I was doing later, but I told her that I was preparing to leave that same day to head to the west coast. Then she was like, how am I going to leave and I only want her snapchat... I hit her up a few times casually on snapchat and she replied fast. Which is Surprising to me. Now we're in the same place and I would like to get to know her better. I rarely talk to her and I've seen her a couple times passing by. We work in the same area. I don't have no car. She always post these relationship related post, i. e. "I want a man to ask me to be his girl, don't just assume we go together." Also she seems like she wants kid (s).
