Not true. Usually a guy is first attracted to a woman based on her looks. So he's only with women who meet his minimum requirements. Then if she has other qualities that stand out and make her good for serious, eventually she might earn him marrying her.

There's smoking hot looking women who can never get a man to take her seriously or marry her. Because it takes stuff other than looks to get those things.

Not at all true for me. By the time I'm contemplating marriage with a girl, her looks cease to matter as much as her outlook, values, our compatibility together. I might be more opposite. I'm more eager to get into a relationship in the first place with a prettier girl than an average one. But if I'm contemplating marriage, the average girl is already the prettiest in my eyes.

Well, the average girl would actually become the prettiest in my eyes which might confuse lots of girls. But it's not so confusing. Say you adopt some pet off the streets. It's probably ugly, like some mangy stray cat or dog. But over time and petting it and being together a lot, you start to think that ugly cat or dog is the cutest in the world because you start to love it.

No. Men are always expected to date down, so plenty of men will happily marry an average looking girl if she proves she is capable and willing to be a wife. Most girls aren't, though.
