That's how I've felt for the past couple of years now, and I think most people would agree, a socially-awkward, socially-inept girl has a much better chance of getting a boyfriend than a socially-awkward, socially-inept guy does at getting a girlfriend.

Also reminds me of a statement I read by another guy, he said:
"But the part you may not realize is that I used to be the most socially awkward shy guy you can imagine. It's not something I ever felt compelled to embrace. Rather, I wanted to beat it over the head with a shovel until it stopped twitching."

That got me mad and pissed off as well, because a lot of people don't like to have to go on the painful journey of messing up or making mistakes to get better at something, because they don't like to have to deal with being reacted negatively by other people.

Guys are more forgiving of social awkwardness because of one of their main reasons for getting with a girl. And that is to eventually get intimate with her. A girl being socially awkward doesn't get in the way of that.

If you flip things around, A girl gets with a guy for some kind of leadership. A girl goes after something she thinks the guy has that is strong. That could even be something as simple as humor. When you are a guy who's socially awkward, majority of you reads "scared". Scared becomes unattractive trait because most girls are attracted to the opposite. Girls tend to be forgiving of this if the guy is attractive.


In closing, I don't believe those who are awkward, shy, anxiety prone or whatever should be dating. I think people get low about themselves because of their mental struggles and they think getting with someone will make them feel better. Only to struggle with that too and feel worse.

Well the way it looks like is that man will overlook social awkwardness in a woman, it doesn't negate their view on a woman's attractiveness but it's unattractive if a guy is socially awkward it seems

It is an unattractive trait to women. However, some women will overlook it if you are attractive to them.

To men, they do not need a woman's social skills to sleep with her. That's because sex is high on the list for a man to get with a woman. But for a woman to get with a man, sex is usually not high on the list. Quality traits are.

A guy can be handsome and good looking or even just average or decent looking but if he is socially awkward he is very likely to struggle to get a girlfriend, Makes me mad
