We met over a year ago and had a very complicated situation where he moved away to another country, came back, but we had an intense and passionate time for months and it had ups and downs. finally he ended things because it got complicated with him moving so he blocked me on all platforms.

Since then, he has decided not to move bc he got a job here. But, he started dating this girl.. maybe just for sex or company.. they aren’t a good match, it’s just weird combo in my opinion. During this time though, the last two months, he unblocked me on social media and followed me and then followed my private account which I post only for us since he’s the only follower (so sexy stuff). Every week he asks to see me, then backs out because he said he feels confused since he is dating this other girl and doesn’t want to feel guilty. But he asks me sometimes multiple times a week too, he watches my stories and posts (sexy and normal) and tells me he is excited to see me again. But this other girl told a mutual friend they’re dating. If they’re dating, I mean.. he’s following my Instagram that’s like nudes constantly and he likes them, etc. I feel like this is like the song “lips of an angel” where two people are apart but they had something strong and are with others but they love each other. What do I do here?

If he really wants you he would do all he can to be with you. I think you’re making yourself seem like an option. No, im not saying to let him go, i know you won't. But the real trick here is to set some boundaries. Dont give him the girlfriend treatment if he's not making you his girlfriend. Set some boundaries, dont be sexual with him, dont make yourself so available to talk to him or seem as interested. I know this may sound scary, but youve been doing isn't working. When you start setting boundaries he might not like them at first, but he will start to respect you more. Not IF but WHEN he asks you whats wrong or why you're acting different tell him what you want and how you feel without being mean or pushy just be firm. If he makes excuses not to give you what you want just say “ok” and dont argue. This will get him to think. Trust me its really attractive to do this, I've always used this trick and its always worked. Stand firm in what you want and dont give in or bend. You deserve commitment with him. You are worthy of commitment with him.
