Is it ok to neglect social rules?

i for example, if some stranger i dont really know is going cos he has to go to bed, i will say goodnight honey sleep well x.
even tho i am straight and not a gay man and its a weird thing to say to a stranger, i dont really care what is acceptable to say and what isn't, i say what i want, and if people dont like it i dont really care.

That's totally up to you. But society does have social/gender rules. Don't want to follow them, know you WILL pay a price. I guess what I'm saying is do what you like. But just don't complain later if you're judged for those words/actions.
