I want some good ideas for a dating profile pic.
Should I use a selfie or get someone else to take the pic?
How far away should the pic be zoomed (how much of my body should be visible)?
Which direction should I be looking at?
What kind of facial expressions should I use?
Are they any specific clothes that will grab more attention?
What colour would women prefer I wear in these pics?

I'm trying to get back to a normal life after being preoccupied with personal issues an any advice would be appreciated.

Candid photos are good. But selfies are good too. So long as you do it right.

Firstly Do not put a group photo as your first picture. You can have some pics with your mate but it's gotta be like 3rd pic.

If you're looking directly at the camera then for the love of god smile. It's creepy and makes you look angry if you're emotionless. Don't bother with full body pics. Torso up is fine. Absolutely no shirtless pictures, no hunting or fishing pictures. If you've got a pet, take a picture with it, women love animals and it's a talking point. If you've got a hobby show a picture of you doing said hobby. Keep your bio short, sweet and simple. Let your pictures do all the talking. A long bio with a bunch of facts about you makes it look like you're trying too hard. Think about what you want in a woman and make your bio aimed at that type of woman.
