Should a guy always follow up on last minute details about a date?

Sometimes I wonder of I should leave the little details for the girl to worry about. Like arrange a date, but then if the day before she's not texting and asking questions about what should she wear, should I do this, are we still meeting at 5? Like I don't know I always seem to make sire all this is taken care of, but then the day of or the evening before they just disappear. It's always the ones that were so excited about a second date that do this ghosting shit too.

A guy doesn’t always have to follow up on last minute details, because usually the woman will ask about it if she’s really interested. In your case if you hadn’t heard from her all that day or she’s already being sort of ghost-y then to me it’s a sign of disinterest, regardless of how good a time you had on a previous date. For this I sympathize with you, because ghosting is just messed up and it gives that person a messed up outlook on dating. The woman could just feel too “mean” cancelling the date for whatever the reason, but unfortunately another motive could be protecting themselves. That was one thing I hated, like if I wasn’t ultimately feeling the guy or didn’t want the date, I’m getting cussed out and bombed with hate and that’s so unwarranted.
