We dated briefly 6 years ago. He found out I was single again and reached out to catch up. He asked me on a date and seemed very keen.
The day of he says something came up he’s helping family and first tried to push it 30 mins then he calls me and says: “I’m so so sorry, something came up on my end, I was looking forward to this but I have to cancel can you maybe do tomorrow…”
So I told him I would have to get back to him and to enjoy his day.
My thoughts are that if he was keen on an opportunity with me he would not let this happen. He’s messaged me a few times over the years. He was the dumper back then can’t even remember the reason but it wasn’t a long relationship. I am sad because I had gotten all ready and was excited. It’s my biggest pet peeve though a flake so I can’t see how continuing to talk to him would allow me any self respect.
Do you have an alternative opinion that I should consider? Is there anything he could do where I should reconsider? Thanks
