She's not attracted to guys shorter than the minimum height. She doesn't want to feel like she towers over her date while wearing heels. Some girls feel that if they are taller than their date then their date can't assert much dominance. It makes them feel masculine. Also, for some girls height is apart of what they find attractive in a man.

It's an excuse to hunt for taller men who are actually genetically inferior since the taller people get the shorter their lifespan is. If you are 5'7 or under that is good for your health, I am 5'10 and too tall technically.

Yes, so many of the girls I've met have that requirement. They feel like if they're ever taller than their boyfriend, they're in charge, but since most women are submissive (as in they rather play the supporting role), they dont like that feeling. a lot of women seem to have at least a 5'10 requirement or at least have the guy be a few inches taller so they can wear heels.
