Hmm, have I had the help of my mom in inviting a few guys to my house and then get ignored completely? Yes. One guy went out to eat with us, and he wouldn’t even look at me…I was sad, but he was a little strange around girls. There was a girl who chased him a bit and eventually he dated her but then they broke up and she got married to a guy that was chasing her for 3 years. Moral of the story: if a guy chases a girl, it’s more likely to end in a long term relationship or marriage. If a girl does the chasing, either the guy will be turned off, or not value her enough. I actually did tell one of my guy friends I liked him after his girlfriend broke up with him and he told my brother “nice, I got options.” Needless to say, though several months later he said he wanted a relationship, 4 days later, he changed his mind and went out with his other girl friend who didn’t like him. I was angry, but I decided I didn’t want to talk to him anymore- he couldn’t really commit to me and didn’t treat me like a priority- just an option- so I stopped talking to him.
