Women didn't change, marriage laws did. There's very little incentive as a man to take that risk.

A few things I’ve heard and read from sources all over.

I think these few things may be possible reasons for men wanting to get married, approach face to face, etc.

-The inclination to normalize sex work and the like
-The move to normalize hookup culture and it’s so called benefits for women in particular
-More sophisticated and efficient methods of birth control

And possibly more

I think all of this and then some, have brought about recent generations of women who have a different frame of mind, not necessarily positive or beneficial to them, compared to women of the past.

Now, there’s a lot of benefits and drawbacks to all of this of course, but I’m specifically talking about men’s lessened likelihood of marriage, approaching face to face, etc.

Will have to get back to you maybe tomorrow when I can think and write coherently. Just got home from ER after a bad accident; nothing broken and no internal injuries. Banged up and bruised but will be ok. Have to pick up a visitor coming in from overseas at the airport this evening.

@Jamie05rhs. I’m ok now, at least feeling that way. Looks wise, I found bruising I didn’t know I had. I have a seatbelt imprint across my front and some leg bruising that are starting to go through color changes. Looks worse than it is.
