Dating/Marrying that's not as smart as you?

I'm not sure how to explain it but I'm dating a guy whose already thinking about having a family with me and growing old together.
I'm all in since I really do love him.
The thing is, our families aren't exactly the same. His is friendly and all but they can seem a bit too simple minded. Mine isn't better but they're a bit more, let's say "sophisticated".
My brother, who is a lawyer, already talked about how I'm better than that but I don't actually agree.
Even if my boyfriend says that I'm the smart one in our couple, I don't like taking that credit.

I'm just scared about, what if one day my boyfriend thinks that I AM better than him and his family and decides to leave me?

I'm not sure how to tell him my insecurities or of I should even have them in the first place...

It's fine. If I give you $20 and you gave me $20 back what would be the point? It's pointless. You want to be in a relationship with a person not a mirror of yourself. Everyone has something to offer is what he offers you want you? If not than move on.

Be honest with him about this worry/insecurity and he should reassure you. You may also reassure him a bit by talking about it with him.

If it bothers you that much, I suggest a couples counselor. They can help you bring up touchy subject while not making it seem like you want out of the relationship.
