I see this guy 5 days a week. We text all day and on our days off. How do I prevent the flame going out?

When we do talk, he hardly asks questions to get to know me. I'm the one that's pulling teeth. My friend knows him and says he's a nice guy , he's shy, and has only dated 3 girls. All he wants to talk about is how cute I am, that he loves my kisses etc. Which that's fine but I want to get to know him more. We talk so much but I feel like the flame is burning out since I see him 5 days a week since he transferred to my location (his position was needed and in high demand). Any suggestions?

Take a step back, you can't force a relationship. If it doesn't come natural for you to see each other and talk. It won't last. You also need plenty of patience with a guy like that. But it must go in the speed of the slowest partner ie him. So take it slow.
