There is a term called, rediscovering your culture, that refers to non-white (usually female) that spends most of their youth, dating exclusively white people only to go back to their race later in life when they are mentally/emotionally fucked up from failed relationships and now want to only date people of their race.

Another example can be found of a user on here from Trinidad. She spent most of her youth only dating white men thinking they were better than non-whites. And the result was she got pump and dumped for sex and now is cautious in ever getting into relationship with a white man.
Another example, Shruti Lyer (youtuber/model). She has low self esteem due to being fat and not that attractive in her youth. Got into shape later in life and improved her looks. She still wanted to stand out and be seen as special by having a Caucasian husband. Within 2 years into marriage, he left her and she released a video on youtube of her mentally broken and crying about the whole affair. She is now dating an Indian man.
When we look at the underlying reason for this decision, it often results from a combination of self hate and placing white people on a pedestal rather than sexual preference. Many of these people look at how white men and women are romanticized in films and think this is what they will get when entering into said relationship.
Now let's assume you were a non-white person and you found out that someone you were currently dating only ever had white partners in the past. In addition, this person is now in their 30's with a list of failed long term/short term relationship behind them and is dating you now.
