I know people sometimes use them interchangeably, but I've also seen people say that "cute" means like 6/10, pretty like 7/10, and then gorgeous or beautiful is 8-10. And that "hot" or sexy is like a sexual attraction more than romantic.
So basically they are different "levels" although they all mean attractive. What do these terms mean when you say them? Or when someone calls you "cute" or "hot" etc.
This is how I see it:
Cute is like attractive but in an understated way. Billie Piper is cute.
Pretty is attractive in a polished way. Like they have neat and elegant features. But I would also call Natalie Portman beautiful.
Megan Fox is hot. Hot women are usually the women men drool over the most because of their sex appeal. It's not just their looks but also their attitude and how they carry themselves.
Monica Bellucci is gorgeous. I see gorgeous as very, very pretty/beautiful. Most supermodels are what I would call "gorgeous" or stunning. To me it's like almost perfect features.
They're all attractive women but different types. Also, most women (even the ones I stated) are more than just one type. The same person can be cute AND hot AND beautiful at the same time depending on many factors.
Contextual. Of course it is fair to say that beautiful is a level above pretty and we could numerically rate them.
However most of the time it is about different aspects. Its like the old trope of how Inuit language has 50 words for snow. While the authenticity might be in question reality is that we often have more words for things that move us.
So if I call someone cute it is likely a charming behaviour, really pretty could be more than gorgeous but describes a somewhat more innocent atmosphere, gorgeous while perhaps jaw-dropping is often linked with an expected inherent confidence and awareness of the good looks. As a guy, unless I am specifically trying to create some arbitrary grade of attractiveness, in which case I will say so, it is safe to assume the words are not levels but variations.
Not so much levels as in one is a step higher than another, but it’s more of “I only know what word to use when I see a person” kind of thing. I keep feeling tempted to just write a MyTake and describe what these words mean to me and provide examples of celebrities and characters that I feel best fit the descriptions. I’ve never written a MyTake before, so I don’t know how difficult it’d be to do on my phone in terms of setup and making sure all the pictures are where they’re supposed to be.
To me, not exactly but they elicit a different response from me. Cute or pretty I would usually use when I find someone attractive but hot is more related to conven beauty standards, not sure why.
Cute/pretty/hot/beautiful could all be 7s or 8s out of 10 but gorgeous is 10/10.

Yeah that's what I mean when I say it. So stunning > gorgeous > beautiful > hot or pretty > cute. They are levels.
When I call a guy "cute" I mean his personality though. I call a guy "hot" when I am attracted to him. "Handsome" when he's just some random model or something.
For me women with cute facial features are very attractive. There's basically just different levels of cute to me. Otherwise, terms like pretty, hot, sexy, gorgeous, stunning and all that are just extensions of her cuteness.
Cute - I'd marry you
Pretty - Dress nice, sister, friend
Beautiful: Pleasing to the eye; I'd marry you
Sexy: You make my penis hard but I don't desire to date you.
They are not different levels of attractiveness, but rather different types.

Yes and no. It’s difficult to explain aside from “cute” having multiple meanings.
