This is a question you guys you guys are asking me as if I have the answers to why people think and feel the way they do towards this. I know it's a preference and yet I disagree with my answers. People csn have preferences be attracted to other races of men or women , but doesn't make it racist or prejudice. Why I don't dictate my life around others opinions.

My initial answer was going to be: It seems like a person who dates outside their race is demonstrating lack of racial prejudice. It seems like the opposite of racism.

I think African Americans are the most likely to call it racist when one of their own dates someone who's not black. And, yes, it's racist to think like that. Fuck that racial purity crap and fuck victimhood mentality and insecurity.

If a person has a low opinion of their own race and thinks it's an upgrade to date people who aren't the same race as them, that's incredibly sad.

Racism: "the belief that different races possess distinct characteristics, abilities, or qualities, especially so as to distinguish them as inferior or superior to one another."

Racists harbor negative stereotypes about people of other races. Racist people think their race is superior.

Personal preference for certain physical qualities aren't necessarily racist.
Here are a couple examples.
1. A white girl with high self esteem, who is proud of her ancestry but doesn't think it is superior or anything, just happens to think black guys look hot. Is that racist?

2. A white guy has a preference for Asian women, but he doesn't think either whites or Asians are superior. Is that racist?

It boils down to preference. Preference has more to do with physical characteristics like faces, eyes, lips, noses, hair texture and color, skin color, body shape, height, mannerisms, and things like that. We can't help what we like.

But preferences are not requirements. They are flexible. There can be tradeoffs.

Let's say a woman matches most of my ideals of perfection, except for the fact that I like pale skin and red hair and she has Mediterranean or chocolate skin and black hair. I would absolutely not find her hair or skin unappealing and would probably fall in love with it immediately.

No. It can be a preference or attraction. Dating someone from other race means you like them, so it's not racist when you like someone within that race.

Technically, ANY decision based on race is racist. So if someone deliberately dates outside of their own race, it’s definitely racist. If they HAPPEN to date outside of their race because a person has qualities they value aside from race alone, that’s not racist.

As someone who has repeatedly dated Korean and Japanese women. . . I will admit that the Asian face I find striking. But at the end of the day, it was the fact that it was effortless for me to ask them out, date them, be in a relationship with them. And what forced me to go down that direction was due to the sheer amount of toxic and dysfunctional women that permeate American society.

There are racist reason, fetishized reasons. To preference based of certain parts of that race they just find more attractive.
