Only if your boyfriend is Leonardo DiCaprio. Other men? Not so much, as long as you find a guy that is not an utter fucking shallow asshole. He is getting older too. I have never found a guy in his late 40s attractive. Their attractiveness goes down by a mile as well. Besides, having a partner is not just about their physical appeal, it should also entail having a good personality and character.

The sole purpose of finding a partner is companionship for many people, and of course, them being attractive matters too, because if you want to get fascinated by someone first (romantically) you need to be attracted to them. That is dating 101.

Finding a guy that is a gentleman is not so difficult because there are still a lot of single good guys out there. Look for them hard enough and you will find your gem. Good luck

Complex question, but here is my experience. Turning 30 isn’t as big a deal as people say. However it starts to come in to some affect with women. Guys usually tend to want to marry down in age as they approach their late 20s and early 30s. For example men who are 33 or 34 years old, will gladly date a 26 year old. This continues throughout life and the disparity in age grows. The 30 year mark is not nearly as valid as you say. 40 years is much more important. It’s very dangerous for men and women. For men they start to have a lot of insecurities in the midlife crisis. For women, they really have to realize that their physical prime years are behind them. Growing old is not easy. But no you don’t get dumped when you’re 30.

It's not about getting ''older'' in age.

Many girls (or people, rather) morph into someone ''normal'', overweight, undermotivated, boring, ''settled'', etc.

So ''we'' lose interest. You would do the same.

My Missus is in her 50's - and I still find her exciting (enough).

Now yes, it IS true that women's reproductive capability (the markers of which is what attractiveness is fundamentally based on) peaks early and falls off rapidly, but it's not like it just vanishes, or that attractiveness is the ONLY thing worth having in a partner- and unless you're dating a vampire, HE'S getting older, too.
