My boyfriend and I have been together 4 years and he hates when I don't respond to his texts immediately. We just had this conversation. I tried to be considerate of the fact that he wanted to talk to me but I was also honest by saying I wasn't looking at my phone much. So I thought he would be glad that I invited him over but obviously he's not, and the last response he gave me makes absolutely no sense to me... I'm not crazy right? Is anyone else just as confused by this as I am?

Boyfriend can't stand when I'm busy, does this make any sense?
Seeing as we don’t know the full extent of this relationship we can’t have a solid opinion, to me from what I’ve read it seems like you don’t want to bother with him, he wants to see your outfit but your worried about the mess in the house that’s not important, and how can anyone be to busy to speak to someone? You make time for them unless you don’t want to bother with them then you lie and say you’re to busy. 🤷🏾♂️ You said that you wanted to talk to him so he could come over later in the message, it’s like you’re playing games maybe that’s why he turned? But like I said without more context I can’t say for certain.

I'm literally home alone which is why I invited him to come over. I've just been getting stuff done around the house because I've been gone for a week. (Which during that week I was over at his house). I just got home yesterday and he's already upset that I'm taking time to myself
Aww poor guy is getting separation anxiety. Ill agree with @givenenough21 keep an eye on that possessiveness that can manifest into mental and emotional abuse.
