So my dad cheated on my mom with a 22 year old hot girl. She is really hot and I honestly can’t blame him for falling into temptation.

If your father is not in love with your mother anymore he should get a divorce and not be a cheater.
Go Dad, your mom should work harder to keep his attention.

It’s still wrong. Cheating is wrong. Even worse when married. Yes he can pray and repent. How the fuck was this a mistake though?
Did he fall on her and his penis just ended up inside her? LMAO. It was a bad choice. Definitely not a mistake. You can’t cheat on someone by mistake. It’s a deliberate act.
With that said. If your father is unhappy in his relationship then he needs to not be a coward and do something about it. Either get a divorce or marriage counseling.
My gosh.
Also. Looks aren’t everything. They’re important. But after you’re married. If you love someone you won’t do this over that.
The affectionate part isn’t good. But still. He was wrong.
💯💯💯💯💯 exactly
@anon1903 thanks!
It's too late for counseling. I suspect the son wants us to justify his fucking actions.
@anon1903 yeah you’re probably right. People love to justify things for people. Love making excuses.
I wonder if his dad had a part to play in this too. If his dad told him all this stuff.
You’re probably right. When it gets to this point it’s probably too late for counseling. But I mean before it.
I’m not even saying his wife is the best wife in the world. But this is definitely wrong and fucked up to cheat.
But really? Maybe there is other reasons why she isn’t affectionate anymore to him too…. Maybe he’s part of this problem.
Many people do stop putting efforts in a relationship, onto health and appearances at some point of life. They should be warned, and divorced,.. Cheating is just shitty. It's like saying I didn't study for Psychopathology because the portion for exam is too much, too inhuman.
Remember... He said his old man is "handsome" as if that fucking explains shi
@anon1903 you’re right. People make vows when they get married. I’m sure everyone at some point goes through a rough patch in their marriage. Cheating definitely isn’t justified.
It’s wrong. It’s immoral. Unethical. In some areas even illegal. He should have either made a effort in working things out or just divorced and moved on.
@anon1903 yeah exactly. I don’t get what it matters. It doesn’t make him any better of a person whether he’s handsome or not.
So what? He’s married.
Cheating wrecks souls
@anon1903 you’re absolutely right. I think cheating does so much damage physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.
Even if someone doesn’t know they are being cheated on. I firmly believe they can feel it.
If he has broken up, she'd be just heartbroken without feeling betrayed. He could have been more considerate... But he wasn't.
@anon1903 you are exactly right. Cheating is wrong even if their marriage is not good right now. Divorce is not good either. But MUCH better then cheating
Obviously, you are a future cheater. . . unless you have already cheated.
Cheating is cheating what led up to him cheating and any justifications you or he come up with doesn’t change the fact that he cheated. And that alone makes him a shit person. Sorry I just don’t hold any value in cheaters and your mom deserves better.
Your dad should've helped your mother maintain herself, especially of it would've led to this. Your mother should've taken care of herself, not only for the relationship but for h her sake as well.
Either way, I place the blame on your father and he definitely deserves to get what he deserves. Cheating is cheating and he obviously took the lazy route instead of actually helping your mother.
we don't know if he did try to help her or not. chances are if he's been with her for this long he's likely to have been trying to help but she won't listen.
had the roles been reversed, it'll be hard for me to defend a guy who got cheated on, if his wife is giving him so many chances to at least show some semblance of wanting to change but instead he keeps dragging her through the mud leading to nowhere.
in no way am I justifying cheating but this can be one of things that goes through the mind of a cheater unfortunately.
@inhua you're right, it's not known. Cheating isn't a way out, though I understand if the partner just broke things off instead of cheating. If you excuse cheating in one case, cheaters will just move the link and think it acceptable in all cases (or in other words, cheaters will always just cheat regardless).
In the case of the father actually helping the mother, it would have been better to have given her an ultimatum if she continued refusing to take care of herself (aka "change your behavior or I'm leaving").
If he helped her and she didn't take it, leave her. Cheating can never be justified!
A cheater is always a cheater! I do not agree with what your mother does but at the same time, your father could have made it clear that he doesn't like her and wants her to take care of herself and if she still didn't do it, then he could leave and then find any girl he wanted! Please, do NOT be like your father! Change your mindset, you are still young!
No, it was 100% his fault. If he's unhappy in the relationship, and the relationship doesn't seem salvageable, he should take steps to end the relationship. There's really no defense for cheating. Even a dog can resist the temptation to snatch a treat balanced on its nose. If your dad can't control himself, that's not because he's human. It's because he's weak.
Cheating is cheating, and there is never a situation in which it is justified. He made a choice to cheat, it wasn’t an accident and it is 100% his fault.
if your father was real man with an ounce of dignity and integrity he wouldn’t have chosen to be an unfaithful pig.
My mom wasn’t taking care of herself
That doesn’t make cheating okay for your father l. If he was a real man he would have ended the relationship instead of being a liar and cheater..
He is a real man. Everyone makes mistakes.
That wasn’t a mistake, that was intentional.
"Before you vote." there's no poll.. 😂.. And yeah he is to blame for his actions.. He allowed himself to fall to temptation.. Sure his wife is overweight and doesn't show him affection, but he made vows til death did them part.
Yes, it's his fault. Maybe he should treat your mom better and she might start showing him some affection and taking better care of herself.
When I see a woman who let herself go, I see a woman who is unhappy in her marriage.
@JDavid25 Either way, he's in control of his actions.
Cheating is never ok, it’s completely selfish. If he wanted to be with other women and unhappy with your mom then he should’ve left you her, plain and simple. Don’t justify his indiscretion with “temptation” and blame your mom for HIS actions.
But it is her fault also. Taking care of your body is necessary for a healthy relationship
Cheating is not her fault. Maybe him losing interest, but the rest is on him.
I’m actually surprised you’re trying to shame your mother when you should be having her back and kick his a*s rather than defending him like this.
He could have LEFT the said relationship, bro
Did your father break up with his wife first? If not then it’s his fault, yes.
If she doesn't satisfy him, he should consider divorce. Your mom doesn't deserve this kind of bullcrap from him. Fuck.
He is at fault. He is the one that cheated and is 100% responsible for this actions.
There is no such thing as "making a mistake" when it comes to cheating. He did what he did for the reasons he did them and regardless it's undefenseable.
well, mistakes are made but the temptation is a bigger part then needs? and she wants him
maybe mom didnot at the time
If your mother wasn't such a turn off it wouldn't have happened.
Your dads an asshole x
Have mercy on him.
