Why do people act like there is something wrong with me for being into taller women?

Taller women are awesome. They have long legs. I just love them. I’m average height.

I don’t have a problem with women who like taller guys.

I think it’s jealous bitches who wished they were tall and men who aren’t into taller girls.

I don’t have a problem with shorter girls or short girls either. I don’t have a problem with guys who are into it.

We are all different and have preferences. Okay. If a 6’7 beauty absolute stunning beauty was into you. You would probably date her. You would probably let her wrap you in her long arms and legs. You would probably let a girl stronger then you pick you up if she likes you and wanted to and she’s beautiful.

Guys act like it’s such a insecurity with stronger girls too. I mean. Dude if she’s into you and she’s hot she has options and she picked you. What’s not to like? You could hit the gym yourself.

Because people think you should like what they like and want what they want, which usually isn't something they chose OR let their instincts choose, but was a decision made for them by marketing departments.

I mean, from a purely utilitarian viewpoint, if you're going for women they're not attracted to, they have less competition for the women they DO like, no? Heck, it'd be even better if you were gay, and not into women at all- but I don't have to tell you how THAT usually goes over.

For what it's worth, women who're into short guys face even nastier social opprobrium; it's even stupider when you reflect that people who have such difficulty getting into relationships are even likely to be more devoted partners since they're not going to figure they can just drop you and get someone else when things get hard.

Sure. Some of them might not be into me. But that’s fine. Some are.

For the same reason people think I'm weird for liking anchovies on my pizza. I love it, but I have yet to meet someone else who does. I know they exist or pizza restaurants wouldn't stock them, but they are obviously very uncommon.

Tall women face the same challenges in dating that short men do. Short is perceived as feminine and tall is perceived as masculine. That's just human nature. I'm 6'2" and since I first started being attracted to girls I have been irresistibly attracted to petite, shorter ones, like 5' - 5'2".

There is nothing wrong with being different, being a guy who is attracted to tall women, a woman who is attracted to short men, or someone who likes anchovies on their pizza. It is what it is. Just be you.

I’m 4”11 or 5ft so I have to date short men my height. I would feel like a little stupid kid next to a huge guy. I wouldn’t feel like a women

If height is a motive to reject someone, clearly it's not a preference, it's a requirement. A preference is to prefer someone of a height but not reject someone just for not being that preference.

It's like my brother who is tall, 5"11 or 6'0 and a big guy (230 pounds) and is into women who are short like 5'3 to 5'4 and big as him. He had dated a girl who was 5'10 and it obviously looked weird cause they were the same height and she was bigger than him.

I think it's because women in general (tall or short) see us short men as "inferior." But I like tall girls too. Because they tend to be nicer, less judgmental, and I just think they're physically much hotter than short and weak looking girls.
