Is a woman who has never been in a relationship before a red flag?

I was hanging out with this guy and I told him that I had never been in a relationship. I’m 20, and it’s just because I have high standards and don’t want to settle for anything that I don’t see going anywhere. He told me it was a red flag, and I argued that it shows self respect and I’m not desperate to be with anybody just to say I’m in a relationship. I know most people my age have been in more than a handful of relationships so him saying that did make me feel a little insecure and behind in life. I just didn’t think most men care, I thought if anything it would be more of a turn on cuz I’m not ran through or whatever lol. What are your personal opinions on women like me and if you’d date them.

Depends on why really. If you're single for religious reasons and are only dating to marry, then its fine. Not for me but it's at least understandable. It's a red flag when she's single for having unrealistic standards for a partner or is not a good person.

I would date someone like u. It is ok to be picky as it is ur life and ur body. But a guy in ur life could be fun and the sex would be even better.

As long as your standards are realistic it’s all good. In fact I’d feel flattered to be the first person a girl had a relationship with. (It also means no ex boyfriends!)
