Women 40+ whose never dated & no friends, are you ok?

So I've never had anything close to a relationship and I've never had friends and Im not close with my relatives. And if Im being realistic, it’ll be this way for the rest of my life.

Any woman who has this life and is over 40, are you ok? And I mean the women who wanted those things but never achieved it. Because im sure antisocial women would thrive in this kind of life. I just wanna know what my future will look like.

I have social issues. I'm autistic, and social interactions are my nightmare. But I put a lot of effort into them. I've created friendships and maintained them daily. I also keep healthy contact with my family.

It's hard work... but we all need to feel we belong, so it's worth it. For me, it's also acting against my nature. Because I know I can go months without contacting anyone, and I still feel good. But then came a time when I missed my people and needed them, but I was alone... and I learned my lesson.

Being totally alone is not OK. It violates a lot of our needs.

@exitseven If it was so easy to just “find friends” I’d have had friends already. And nothing wrong with having cats. Thats such a misogynistic phrase people like to use. I love cats and hope to have a bunch of cats and other animals one day. I don't know why having cats is bad for a woman but a man having dogs is ok.

I know it, I've been there. It's only my decision and hard work I'm not a lonely person today. It's doable. The rest depends on you

Obviously I'm not a woman, but I was 35 before i had any relationship. I had all but given up hope, and to be fair that first relationship didn't last long due to circumstances. But not long after I did find someone, we're now engaged with 2 kids.
Don't give up hope, I'm sure there is a chance for you if you want it and are prepared to work on yourself

I am curious about this too I mean I'm a Loner myself I don't like really hanging out with people too much. Mostly because my friends act like jackasses try to show off every little chance they get. Opinion is useless on this I'm just bored
