I have been libing with him after being homeless, he said 250 at first then 350 and now 500, i told him its too much , he said u dont like it , leave and move out. But i feel he is stealing from me. I know its normal to pay rent but we are not boyfriend girlfriend
You should ask him, how much he wants every wants for rent at the going rate, bills included or not included, and agree with it. But he entitled to increase rent, within reason.
If you can't afford it, or you think he is taking advantage of you, then move out.
I mean, it should be normal to pay regardless of your relationship status.
Check how much your total rent is, divide that by two - that should be the max you pay unless there is a separate bill for utilities and you consume too much..

You're stealing from him. You're taking space in a home he owns.
That how it is, if you were in a relationship he'd pay for it or half of it at least but if you are just roommates the 50:50 is standard
