I have a curly hair and i love it. However, sometimes i am in rush and it takes time and I don’t like to deal with it. Honestly, sometimes i wish we girls like men, we can cut our hair short without being judged by society etc who think girls with short hair are masculine or lesbian. I wish if i could cut it this short, I wouldn’t say forever because i like long hair too but I’m afraid that my boyfriend would no longer likes me, also the society in general. I wanna know why people think girls must be with long hair but it’s okay for men to with short hair. I used to think that only girls can grow long hair until i ask my boyfriend about his hair type and he repkied” men can have long hair too but we cut it because the society say that men should be with short hair”. His reply honetly opened my eyes into things i have never thought of.

I have had girlfriends who have had short hair and also with long hair and they're both beautiful and short hair can be just as sexy as long hair. As some else has mentioned face shape helps a lot to determine what style of cut to go for, the best bet it to speak to a good hairdresser who will give you honest advise. If your boyfriend no longer likes you then he's extremely shallow, he may have a preference but it isn't your hair he loves you for! Also f*ck society, do what you want and what you like, if you like short hair you have short hair!
It depends on what looks good on you and what you like/feel comfortable with the most! But shorter hair actually require maintenance cause a bob that isn’t straight for example may not look too good imo… that first pic is a good example, but it depends of course… whereas with long hair you can have very nice styles even if messy, can still look hot. Depends if you have a lot of hair or not also. You can try it will grow back anyway 😌 I can’t go back to long hair personally and I always get compliments on my short hair cut
I think it depends on the lady and her face shape. Women with very sharp features can actually make their faces look more masculine with shorter hair styles. If you have a round face is can make your face like wider or fatter. The first haircut is actually nice, it's Bob and fits her face perfectly and still looks feminine.
I prefer longer hair, always. Meaning, I like a girl to at least have shoulder length hair. It doesn't need to be down to her ass or anything - shoulder length is fine, but much shorter than that is in my opinion unattractive, and is OFTEN dykey. Consider that lesbians cut their hair short in part because they specifically DON'T want to be attractive for men, and that should tell you everything you really need to know.
@Sasha0426 No, I'm just telling it like it is. I made no references to anyone specifically. If you chose to take it personally, that's not on me. And the length of your hair is something that (outside of cancer treatment or something) you have control over. The length and style you choose is a CHOICE, and choices have consequences. All I did is explain what those are, in the eyes of MOST men. Clearly not all men agree, but you should at least KNOW what the majority opinion is. That way, if you choose against it, you are doing so fully informed, and can expect the reactions you are likely to receive.
Men have plenty of expectations too, and women have NO PROBLEM being direct and cruel to men who don't meet them. Women are CONSTANTLY and cruelly dismissive of men who are too short, too broke, too fat, too insecure, not masculine enough, etc., and frequently tell men these things personally, directly to their face, and no one says anything.
I made a generalization - one that is true, by the way - and made no personal references of any kind, so don't put any of that on me.

I'm educating people so that they have better information and can make informed decisions - giving them the OPPORTUNITY to improve their own lives in some small way (and perhaps not so small ways). Metaphorically, I can lead people to water, but I can't make them drink. If people choose to ignore these things or choose against what the majority wants, there's not really anything I can do about that - they're the ones who will suffer the consequences of their choices, not me.
And even though I happen to share the majority opinion in this case, my opinion doesn't really matter. First, I'm not on the "dating market" at the moment, but even if I never existed, what I wrote is still true: the majority of men prefer longer hair on women, and, generally, shorter hair on women is often seen as a sign of lesbianism, or that she's too hold to grow healthy long hair (which is why older women almost always have short hair) - neither of which is generally desirable on the relationship market. Had I never been born, everything I just wrote would still be just as true - and, yes, there are always some exceptions.
It's not like any of this is a secret either. If you pick up any magazine targeted towards women, it will be full of pictures that back up what I've written. Sure, there are a handful of exceptions - more today than even a decade ago because of wokeness - but you'll still overwhelmingly see women with longer hair, because that's the standard of beauty, at least in the West. Not a single magazine editor has ever called me for a consultation, by the way - the beauty standard was around long before I was born, and will be here long after I'm gone.

Being a hairlover I've noticed that both of them has their perks and curses.
Short-hair means you can play a lot with it and it has way more contours than long hair. It can be washed very easily. You can have a lot of fun with the girl, without her constantly having to pull the hair out of her face.
Long-hair is sexy. You can play around with it and it feels great to have her hair spread all over your chest when she falls asleep on your chest. There are many other things you can do with long hair that I won't get into here. (hairlover)
I think it depends on her facial features and face shape, and also hair texture. I’ve found for me, medium length hair is easiest to maintain and manage. Longer hair is traditionally more feminine, but the trends are always changing and I think there are more guys who aren’t as picky.
As BlueScorpio said, it really depends on the woman. Some do look good with short hair, but I do find that I find women with long hair more attractive, especially if I see them with long hair first, and then they cut their hair after. I do like the first pic (bob cut), cause its feminine. Second one is hard to pull off, cause its short and boyish. You have to have attractive features in the first place.

In case my girlfriend would want to have short hair or even shave her head, just to experience it and would straight away grow all hair to first pic length or longer, I would have no issues, but in case she would decide to permanently change her hair stile to short or bald I would seriously consider to leaving her...
As of men, I have long hair most of my adult life and can see that people look at me different as I had both and a lot of men I talked to would like long hair. Just most women seem not to like men with long hair.
I really don't care for real long hair. It just gets in the way. Waist-length straight hair and arm pit length curly hair is plenty long enough.
Shorter hair styles can be really cute. They can frame a girl's face flatteringly. They can give her a sense of individuality, style, sophistication, or even mystery.

Whatever suits her best. Some women look better with shorter her, some better with longer. I usually don't like very long hair though. Shoulder length looks so much better than longer than that and it's still what I'd consider long hair. Longer than that to me just looks like she forgot to get a haircut in a while.
I prefer A though even a very small amount longer that a woman could put into a small low pony-tail or small low bun at the neck-shoulder line, awesome. I'm a sucker for preference for brown hair.

While I love long hair it really doesn't matter to me. The length of hair does change the look of the girl but it doesn't change the girl. There is more to girls than their looks.

It depends on how the girl looks, Sharon Stone in basic instinct had very short hair, but still looks incredible. I know my female friends who looked like total guys with short hair.
