And of course it never ends well. I always wind up driving them nuts with my slower personality. So why do I always think we have so much in common initially? Have you ever been drawn to someone slower than you? Or are type-A people just extra charming maybe?

We are driven passionate people and we like that passion to matched. If you are not true A-Type you can fake it for a while, but eventually you find A-Types to be overbearing and overtly aggressive. Sure, that is probably true, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. It's that aggressive nature that drives us to excel and succeed. You are attracted to A-Types because we are driven and tend to be successful and have all the qualities that you may lack but respect in other.
So, if you cannot put yourself forward within a relationship with and A-Type then tend to take the lead and take over. 90% of the women I dated were not A-Types and none of the relationships succeeded. Sure, they are fun while they lasted, but eventually they felt inadequate... and you can say I indirectly made them feel that way, without meaning to. I just had more to offer them then they had to offer me, and they started to feel insecure about it. I just have a strong personality and they could not match it.
I am type A. My brother is type B. And I know the girls I have always liked were Type B on the spectrum. I don't know what always got the attraction. Even they admitted they like my attitude.
But it's not just type a and b personality. If you look at it you will find that the people you get attracted to are also same compatible star signs too. İnitially I didn't believe it but with time I realized all the girls I liked were Cancers, Pisces, Scorpio and Taurus. Not a single one of them was outside that. How did I check that. It's not like I asked them before hand. When I got to feel attracted to them I asked there birthdays and it was always in one of these months. Can't be just a coincidence))
Sounds like I'm personality B, but I'm the opposite.. I'm attracted to A, however, I seem to attract personality B. Lol

Everyone wears masks the real trick to know if this person is right for you is if they do emotionally care about you. Do they remember your favorite color do they remember your birthday they remember your full name your hobbies what you're passionate about when you talk to them do they actually listen can they carry on the conversation and they spend time with you it's not always about sex they are just there to spend time with you. Do they talk about having a future together. Also do they talk about what they do and don't like and sit down and be adults and have a civil conversation about problems.
I'm drawn to girls with slower personality and girls with problems like mental health issues.

Type A would not go crazy over your slower personality, they would want to do everything themselves. If you were both type A you'd be fighting for control all the time.
There isn't always a rhyme or reason why your oxytocin acts up around certain people.
