Clueless When you are in a committed relationship you and your partner are 1 , you are a package deal , it has nothing to do with trust and insecurities, it comes down to respect for each other , if you wanted to live a single life style , then you should of never got committed in the first place is how I look at things , so if your fiancé doesn’t go to this wedding remember next time you get invited somewhere without him You don’t go , Toxic people try to separate you and your partner they aren’t friends they are assholes bottom line , never chooseYour friends over Your partner cuz most friends are. really your friends they will not be with you until the end but your partner will be if you respect each one and make each other your number. Priority that’ whee love grows and you will see love grow between you and Your partner because you are removing selfishness for each other , Always remember it’s you and your partner Vs this fucked up world We Live in , You got committed to love and share and experience things together and climb over obstacles together not committed to live separate lives , people that do that are the biggest pieces of shit selfish people on this planet that only care about themselves and don’t wear their partner’s shoes when making decisions , They walk around like oh my partner trusts me and loves me , sadly that’s what they think , they want space from you so they can go and be selfish themselves, that isn’t love that is called being used and taken for granted a convenience. A loving partner doesn’t need space from someone they claim to love , if the need space , then go in a different room of the house, but there is no excuse if they have to leave for periods of time , They are just making excuses for their piece Of shit selfish behavior
It depends on some things. Like, did the folks throwing the wedding know that we're together? Does anyone get to bring +1s? Is this a really small wedding? Is the venue very small? Is the reception exceedingly expensive? If the answer to these is "yes" (or "no" to the +1 question) then I wouldn't mind. The choice wouldn't be personal, it's for a logistic, practical, or cost reason. I get that. I'd be fine if she went. But, if it were personal then I probably wouldn't. The middle ground is that this was a thoughtless oversight and I'd contact them and ask about my SO.

mine would likely not go then. i'd find it odd, but it wouldn't keep me up at night. don't have to buy gifts or whatever and show up, etc. just more free time!

You go as his date. That’s what people do if you are couple. It says you are 30 and surely you have dealt with this before. He RSVP, either verbally or written, for two attendees.
Whatever. I wouldn’t be personally butt hurt over things like this.
Shrug and move on. I've been to weddings so fancy I'm surprised they let me in even WITH an invitation; more than once, I've thought "This place wouldn't even let me park cars".
I also come from a big family where weddings are celebratory events (Mom once told me that at the cleanup after HER wedding reception, they found at least three bras), - and have noticed that for a lot of people, they aren't; it's just an excuse to wear uncomfortable clothes. The kind of wedding I'm not invited to is generally the kind I wouldn't want to be at anyway.
I would simply not go. If it's someone I or he barely interact with I could care less if I'm invited. I'll just make sure they can't come to my wedding because I'm petty like that 😂
It's ok he is his friend he invited him , the groom must have limited seatings at the wedding.
If he doesn't know you at all and you are not legally his wife yet his friend can choose to invite only him
I wouldn't care about not being invited. At the end of the day, we may live to together and brought a house, but we aren't married. If he wanted to go to the wedding, I wouldn't stop him.
