Why are guys constantly cancelling on me?

I have been doing online dating a while but it seems lately I am getting cancelled on left and right. Literally was cancelled for first dates 5 times the last 2 weeks. Some just never reach out, others cancel last minute saying “something came up with the family” but then never follow up.

They never reschedule and I always make sure to respond nicely. Guy last night cancelled and I said “no problem hope all is ok” and no response. That just pissed me off. He clearly lied and could care less about changing all my plans. I think I am a decent conversationalist so don’t think that is the issue

Question is are others facing the same problem and what to say to people like this? I feel like they’re getting away with treating people badly and it angers me. Or do I just accept that I am just going to get cancelled on the majority of the dates?
