I’ve known this guy for 6 years. We’ve been on and off/boyfriend and girlfriend for the majority we’ve known each other. We stopped seeing each other in the end of 2020. He’s a marine now in Japan and I’m a graduate student in New York. We both came home for the holidays and have spent time together. I caught feelings and am willing to try and make a commitment to him, but I’m afraid he won’t feel the same way. Because of this, I get frustrated and I feel like I pushed him away with a letter I wrote him saying why I was frustrated. Should I let go or try and rekindle something?
Superb Opinion
No, if he wasn't good enough for you then, now, your not good enough for him now. Men don't want to be any woman back up plan. Leave him alone. Let him find a good woman.
