I’ve known this guy for 6 years. We’ve been on and off/boyfriend and girlfriend for the majority we’ve known each other. We stopped seeing each other in the end of 2020. He’s a marine now in Japan and I’m a graduate student in New York. We both came home for the holidays and have spent time together. I caught feelings and am willing to try and make a commitment to him, but I’m afraid he won’t feel the same way. Because of this, I get frustrated and I feel like I pushed him away with a letter I wrote him saying why I was frustrated. Should I let go or try and rekindle something?
