For Valentine’s day I’m thinking about making him a heart shaped red velvet cake is that too cheap? Would that be enough?

why not take him to a special place that he likes, but then why wait until valentines day, why not now, after all valentines day is only a day that years ago some made and people follow, and I'm not a follower

It depends on the expectations in your relationship and what his love languages are. For me, acts of service highly outranks gift giving, and I love good food, so receiving a homemade red velvet cake would be fast more meaningful than any gift.

If he likes cake and red velvet cake then it is an AWESOME idea. And, yes, enough. But if he doesn't like cake or red velvet then need to go back to the drawing board! :)

There is a list for each year, you can Google it but I know 25th is Silver and 50th is Gold , not sure but I think first is paper and 4th is Flowers 🌺
