Is baking a small cake for my guy friend's birthday too much?

its my best guy friend's birthday and I'm going to bake a cake and draw a piano on it with whipped cream and chocolate( he is saving to buy a piano)

i know he likes me more than friends, and he asked me several times, but we decided to stay friends. so I was wondering if buying a gift and baking him a cake is too much for a just friend guy or that would mislead him about me changing my mind?

I think that's a great idea. I don't think there's anything sexual about a cake. The thing is that it's a sweet gesture, which shows you're a sweet person, which might make him want you even more.

I would just bake a cake. No gifts. I don't think that is too much. If you buy a gift though, that may be a little much. I sometimes take my guy friends to lunch on their birthdays, but baking a cake would be nice.

Baking a cake is a great idea. That's sweet. It dose not mean that you like him like that. It shows that you care for him and that he is a good friend to you. And why you don't want to be with him?
