Thats likely why you don't see any good matches. Too many women are using said invisible profile option, so it's as if they aren't even there.
The worst part, is that most sites/apps require both people to hit like/swipe right on eachother in order to be able to see any messages you received from them.
So if one of the women liked you, and sent you an introduction message, you'll never know, just because she is using incognito mode.
So why are the women using it? Because if they take incognito mode off, they get spammed by so many guys, that their inbox gets full, and they can't respond to all of them.
But now they can't get any matches at all.

I have two lady friends figuring that out over the holidays. They liked limiting the amount of email/contacts they received but found the 'App work time' required was the same whether they were eliminating on the front end or answering or deleting waste of time contacts.
The decision is out on whether the feature is useful. In some of those endless emails are interesting guys that are seemingly be eliminated at this time. Jury is still out...
in my opinion, its useless. Whats the point of a dating app/site where you can't see anyone? What if everyone used the feature? it would result in the site looking completely empty.
Yep, i rather spend the same time and at least make real time connections. www.meetup.com
None of the meetups in my area for any of the activities I enjoy, ever have attractive women attending. So thats not an option for me.
Well damn…. time to move to density populated with “job transfer”
I'm not sure about other apps, but for Bumble, you can pay for their incognito mode. The way it works is that you as a man would only see her profile if had she swiped right on you first. As far as I know, you can't tell if she's using it.
I'd use the feature myself if I could because I'd rather limit showing my profile to only guys I'm interested in vs anyone seeing my profile because I've also experienced a toxic ex trying to connect with me on a different dating app. I'm the type of person who's social media profiles are private (hence why even this response is private), so the feature was something I was interested in using. However, I think Bumble is an annoying dating app because it makes you pay for everything, including their incognito feature, which I figure should be a free because it's about safety.
Bumble has its own separate issue, women have to message men first on bumble, so an incognito mode is redundant. Its why most men refuse to use the app (myself included).
Women should not be the only ones to have all the options when dating. Imagine if all the men on bumble used incognito it's mode (they can), then bumble wouldn't even work lol.
You want your dating profile private? Ok, then you also shouldn't be able to see anyone else's profile either until you turn that option off. You should not have special privilages that other users don't get.
No, I don't use dating apps anymore, so I never noticed that before.
