I have been talking (texting) this guy for about a month now. He always asks "to see me" so I will send him selfies and he responds with "my love" or something of that nature. He is moving permanently to the city I am in a few weeks and wants to go on a date. He asked me if I have been fucked recently and I responded with, I haven't. he said ok good. just checking. I asked him whys that? and he said, "that's mine". Why would he be saying all these things, calling me love, etc if we haven't even met yet?

He could be trying to get you comfortable with him so you’ll be more likely to fuck him. But that’s the main answer I can give with the amount of context provided.
If your conversations mostly consist of sexual talks then stick to my previous suggestion.

If he is actually trying to get to know you then maybe he’s a desperate guy or he really likes you. (Only saying this because of the “my love” nick name)

Honestly if you’ve only been talking for a month I’d be a bit cautious, make sure he’s not just trying to use you and dip.
