Several here on gag. Most of the guys who are shorter than average in real life that I know have less issues getting women than I did when I was dating.
I only see this on GaG, I have never met anyone irl cry about being short & I see alotta dudes shorter then me with chick's all the time. Even my dad is shorter then me lol I have only seen women online say they don't like short guys but I see tons of women settle up.
I've unfortunately known them in real life too. Almost dated one, terrible experience. I don't recommend. Stay away from them at all costs you aren't responsible for their misery.
@insteadfew I don't know them personally. Infact I have an uncle who is shorter than me and his wife but he was and is not insecure about his height at all. He's 5'0-5'1 I guess.
Yes. A teacher I had in HS comes to mind. He was a complete asshole, trying to be a badass. I don't know how tall he was but I was several inches taller than him when I was 15. Wasn't too sad when I saw a while ago that he died at 54.
Based on your description it sounds like you're describing the same thing man. Help me understand If you think Im misunderstanding you. Here's the definition I found on Wikipedia.
"The "Napoleon complex", known informally as small man syndrome, is a syndrome normally attributed to people of short stature. It is characterized by overly-aggressive or domineering social behavior, such as lying about earnings, and carries the implication that such behavior is compensatory for the subject's physical or social shortcomings. In psychology, the Napoleon complex is regarded as a derogatory social stereotype."
This was based off an article from David Wygant who helps men. This article was talking about short guys who blame their height on not getting women. Title was the same as mine. Nothing to do with what you are saying but I see what you mean.
Many. I always meet him at the pub when he's had too much to drink. Fighty guy! I'm gangly, slender. Bit of a willow switch. Some of these midgets weighing in at 215. Awkward. Nervous. I just brand him with a pool cue. Works a charm.
My boyfriend is 5'2, I'm 6'2. At first, he hated it. But eventually he didn't mind and has now come to love it. I love having a shorter partner because I feel as though I can protect him

The only thing I ever get asked is aren't you going to be insecure when I wear high heels and I'm taller than you? Huh? Oh no I don't care.
remember I'm 5'5" so every girl I meet is basically the same height as me. Makes kissing and eye contact a lot easier.
I've met guys who suffer from that , for sure , its an attitude.
Two people I was friends with had that bad, one of them was even taller than me at 6 2

Yes. Someone on this site lol. I don't have anything against him. But he blocked me anyway. So,... oh well! 🤷
Seem like quite a few on here. In real life, my vertically-challenged male friends have little problem getting dates.
I've unfortunately known them in real life too. Almost dated one, terrible experience. I don't recommend. Stay away from them at all costs you aren't responsible for their misery.
What about a short man attracted you to him , initially?
@insteadfew I wasn't attracted to him, that's why we never dated.
What was his height?
@insteadfew I think 5'3". I'm 5'2".
The Napoleon complex is fucking annoying when you actually run into it.
Anything they end up perceiving as "manly," they end up trying to overdose on it.
I don't know them personally but I have seen few anonymous post about being insecure for short height.
You do not know short insecure men?
@insteadfew I don't know them personally. Infact I have an uncle who is shorter than me and his wife but he was and is not insecure about his height at all. He's 5'0-5'1 I guess.
He is even shorter than his wife? 😲🥺😳
@insteadfew yeah, she's slightly taller than him. Like few centimetres but even she doesn't mind it.
How tall are their children?
@insteadfew they're still kids! His eldest son is studying in grade 1 and his younger son is still a toddler whose speaking isn't clear yet.
Oh.. young boys! How old is your uncle then
@insteadfew he's pretty young, in his early 30's I guess.
Damn young uncle 🤣
@insteadfew yeah I know right

I think its called Napoleon syndrome.
That is something different. That is being short and being pissed off about it in my opinion.

Well if that is the case then yeah. Totally not what I was wanting to project.

Ah Gotcha.

Here I've known one. And he wasn't short. But it was in his head. He was so hard on himself, until the very end, he never changed mind on this.
I've known a few. I'm 4ft6 and I'm only attracted to men over 6ft. My boyfriend is 6ft7. This pisses a lot of short guys off for some reason.
LOL.
You see shor men as sissy?
@insteadfew no buts it's more like having a baby brother
How would a 5'6 guy be your baby brother when tou are just 4'6?
@insteadfew just feels like it.
You weird then 😂
You yourself are so short 😜
@insteadfew no most girls view short guys this way. Something so masculine about a tall guy.
You lack height 😂 and you say so.. hahaha no one will take your joke seriously 😅
Chill
My boyfriend is 5'2, I'm 6'2. At first, he hated it. But eventually he didn't mind and has now come to love it. I love having a shorter partner because I feel as though I can protect him
Ah gay? So he is submissive and bottom one?
He's a switch, actually. But yeah a sub switch
Is he insecure about short height especially around girls?
He says very minimally
More insecure about being short around guys?
He says yes, but as long as his partner doesn't mind the height difference he's cool with it.
Dude.
”You’re going to miss all the short guys walking around who are getting laid”
Can we at least stop lying here?
Women don’t like short Mfers
I’m 5’7 done just fine my entire life. I’m not the only one. Let’s stop lying that somehow if you’re short you can’t attract any woman …nonsense
Doubt it. You spend way too much time on the internet for somebody that’s suppossedly doing well with women
And most of your advice is bs too by the way
LOL You do you boo
I'm 5'8", and my best friend is over 6". I'm single virgin, he's married and living in his own house. Wer're both 34 or close to it
Are you virgins on purpose?
So you are single and virgin because of your height?
@insteadfew Apparently
Sorta
But 5'8 isn't thaaat short
@insteadfew Compared to my over 5' best friend, it is
All the short guy friends I have are pretty boys and in great shape they have no trouble attracting women
Only too well. My father had it, and one of my managers. Oddly he was one of the few managers I didn't get on with.
