Is it too harsh to give your partner a deadline to change?

I waited for almost 4 years for him to go back to school to get a financially stable job. After all these years. He’s still working minimum wage and 30 years old. I’m in my early 20s and working towards my career goal. I want us both to be financially stable but at this point, I feel like I’m wasting my time on a man who has no ambition. Is it too harsh to give him until June to do something about it? I don’t want to wait any longer tbh. 4 years is already long enough.

I did voice my concern many many times already. It gets exhausting now. He’s not even working towards a financially stable job. He’s just working a low income job.

No he isn’t. I just feel like he isn’t mature enough to think about his future. I just keep hoping he would but at this point I’m really losing hope that he is going to be willing to change. Just sucks bc I loved him a lot

No. In fact if you're that unhappy it would beneficial for BOTH of you. Because either he changes and you're happy or he doesn't and you can move on, and he can be happy with his life without you nagging him anymore. EVERYBODY WINS!
