My boyfriend of almost 3 years wants to move out and says I'm not observant?

When our sex is as frequent as he wishes, there is no problem. When it gets to a point I'm unwilling to have sex, he says he wishes to move out for a while and give me some space.

We have been living together since we started dating.

Then if we have sex before the time for him to move out, he won't move out anymore.

The circle continues.

He keeps telling me I am not observant of him. I wait for his mood to be sour before I do what I'm supposed to do.

I tell him if something makes you feel sour, you let me know, I don't have to observe you to know you are sour.

I always tell him how I feel, whether I'm ill or unhappy. But he wants me to observe him and guess what's happening. I'm currently on my period with lots of pain but I still got to cook or I'll be hungry. He's not observant. I told him I was in pain, still I did what I had to do. That aside, I told him to tell me anytime something is wrong.

He said "it can't be that easy, you don't expect me to just say yes or no, figure it out". I was like, "why can't it be simply"? He said I need to put in the work.

I feel like I'm a bad person. I don't know how to respond anymore.
