Why do people plan on not showing up but never cancel?

Sometimes I meet people over the internet and we arrange to meet up. Some of them never show up and they never bother to cancel. why do people do this? I feel like this itself shows more about a person's lack character than anything else. how do people do this to someone and not feel bad about it?

Don't take it personal. Today there are plenty of people that behave like this, no matter how good you are.

The reason may be that many of these people have experienced the same on them, so they don't feel like putting much effort into something that could easily be yet another disappointment.

This is why I personally don't use online dating, where this is much more common and eventually it feels rather like a chore.

No i dont believe people do it cuz it had be done to them. They were too cowardly to cancel so they decided to be cruel as a way to do it. This inherently has to do with how much you care or respect other people

Yes and no. I would say if the guy doesn't do it is because he has plenty of clarity.

Because there is something you are missing: how much rejection guys experience from women in a day to day basis.

I've been rejected, mistreated. I still dont think its morally right to be unnecessarily cruel to others. It all boils down to your moral compass and how good of a person you are. Good decent people have consideration and respect for others

What I'm saying is that you shall expect this, because it happens frequently.

Sure if this is the situation you shall not continue trying with this person, maybe if they come by themselves and apologize.

What I'm saying is that you shall not expect it to be any different, and become angry because of them. You simply act accordingly, you have a period of vetting the person.

For me how other people behave is like the weather. I can complain that it rains, or I can do something about it and take an umbrella.

The truth is that, for good or for bad, the universe doesn't accommodate me. It's me who chooses how to deal with it.

By the way I never do any of those nasty things to my dates. Yet I receive the opposite treatment back quite often.

But eventually one realizes something, that the amount of idiots is infinite. You will never be able to fix each of them. It's their problem.
