today, i had a date with a guy i met from an online dating app. we agreed to meet up at this location at 3.30pm today. I carved time out of my busy schedule to meet him. I show up there at 3.30 pm and nobody shows up. this hadn't been the only time i've been stood up. Last month, I was scheduled to meet another online date at a location at 4pm. Nobody showed up. I wasted money on train fare getting to there.
the most troubling part wasn't the fact they didn't want to go on the date. the worst part was they didn't even bother to Cancel. how hard is it just to text someone that you're not going on the date? I can't believe that some people are this inconsiderate and heartless.
is this mostly specific to only online dating? should I just stop online dating and start meeting guys in real life? I feel like guys in real life tend to be higher quality than these assholes I meet from online
