Have you ever met someone and wished they were the same age as you?

Met this woman a while ago who seemed like everything I ever wanted in a woman. We had a great conversation, but I can tell the age difference was a problem for her.

I bet we would have been really good together. I really respected her.

It kinda felt like when you almost have bingo in multiple places on the board and then someone else wins.

yessssss, especially when it's a guy and he's hot and then i realize he's too old or young for me. it's just so disappointing to go from meeting someone and being so excited to get to know them and then learning that you'd never work out because there's a crazy age gap between you. it's like your excitement totally spikes when you meet them but then when they tell you your age your mood totally flips upside down and suddenly you're totally depressed... and the sad thing is that i've done this to people multiple times myself because i look older than i really am😭😂

I do not know the age of the guy I used to like, so he might have been much younger than me, or much older. But I believe our emotional affinity was congruent so it would not have been a socially mismatched type of relationship where one is life times ahead of another in experience.

I tend to date older, sometimes more than ten years older. There have been times where it likely would have made a huge difference. Not for me, but for her family and friends. Those are the people who more often than not have torpedoed it.
