Why do guys energy change after our first dates?

I had guys who spends so much time texting me in paragraphs to make me interested, charm, and feel connected. We would go on first dates and they still seem interested by asking me questions, compliments, or even hug me… but after the date… their texts are more dry, low energy… why? Do they lose interest after just meeting to get over the excitement? Is there anything I did wrong?

not you did anything. we blue give MUCH effort to cause the first meeting then we think it will continue with less effort.

Because before the first date they were mostly turned on by your looks. After the date they realized you have no (or very little) personality.

You're a woman you're not going to get this you do not think like a man.
Good or bad? depends on your viewpoint to it. No one dates hoping to fail. And nobody wants to throw good money after bad.
