Why won’t he tell me he is a doctor?

On our first date I asked him what his occupation was and he kind of answered the question without answering the question. I forget what answer he gave lol, but I didn’t push it or ask again, because I figured he didn’t want me to know and I really don’t care about what he does. I care about who he is as a person.
unfortunately, my mom is kind of a stalker, so she did an in-depth search on him on google and found out that he is a doctor. I asked her not to tell me anything else she finds, because I would like to learn about him from him lol. I would ask her not to research/stalk him anymore, but I know she won’t stop.

After finding out that he is a doctor, I am confused as to why he wouldn’t tell me what he does, because being a doctor is something to be proud of and is a really good job.

Because he wants to know any attraction you have to him is because of who he is as a person, and your personal connection as man and woman, and not the fact that he is a doctor.

You shouldn't take this personally. If you honestly try to put yourself in a man's shoes, I think you'll understand his motives.

It has his full name and picture on the website. He also told me he majored in biology, which is what most people major in before going to med school.
But maybe it’s not him no it’s just a coincidence lol.
