I have been going back and forth with this one girl that I honestly still truly love but it has been made clear to me that it will be no more. I have been with her for about 7 years now and I don't know how to get back in. the last time I ever tried to get someone was back in highschool.
The true issue is that I don't know how to compete with the current "Hook-Up" Culture because that is not who I am, I want to date for marriage and I am a bit of a traditional guy. I have never used any of these dating apps or anything else. if I can please get some help/advice on how to go through this that would be great. just one thing that just seems to be a surprise to everyone is that I'm a straight shooter, I tell it how it is, even if its not what someone want to hear.

I'm in the exact same boat. I'm not going to fundamentally change myself for any woman. I detest hookup culture / deception. What I do is be honest / vulnerable, this weeds bad women out. Took a long time to find a decent one, believe I finally have.
