Is there a point in dating at 24 when I am pursuing masters?

My situation is the following, I am currently unemployed, in a fairly good shape, live with my parents, they will be financing my studies and giving me allowance.

Would there be any point in dating girls right now? or it would be a waste of time? (Nothing against girls or anything, I just want to make sure that it would be fruitful and beneficial in the long run for both of us)

Or should I get a stable job first, (at around 27-28 years of age) and then start taking dating seriosuly?

You cannot study all around the clock. Your life will still be nicer with a girlfriend. Best get one who is a student as well so you can encourage each other.

Consider also that the woman will be with you for your own sake. Sure, the fact that you are studying for masters gives you some status already, but she is not just waiting at the finish line to catch a winner.

In case you cannot get a suitable girlfriend you can still try again once you have established yourself in your job. However, it will not have the same youthful carefree feel about it. She will still go for the whole package you have to offer, but your career may play a large part in impressing her.

That really depends on whether you have enough time to date. At your age and in your situation, being an unemployment student is not a dealbreaker. You can date a fellow student, including undergrads.

Yeah if you can swing it. I'm in the exact situation myself. I'm deciding if I want to start mine this year or wait another. I will probably start this year. That meant I decided to stay single the summer because I just didn't think I had the time to pour into a relationship if I'm going to start my masters in the fall. It wouldn't be fair to the other person that I didn't have the time for them with all the studying. It is a personal choice and everyone is different. If you can do it great and if not that's okay too.

I think you should attempt dating if you think it's possible. You might secure a younger female dating now vs dating later and also might find one of the good one's before they are off the market.
