If I'm beautiful, then why don't any guys check me out or approach me?

Question

I get called beautiful by my old neighbors in their 40-50s. My parents call me beautiful. My coworker calls me beautiful but Guys don't ever check me out. Guys never hit on me. Only creeps or weirdos hit on me- maybe once every few years. The last creep who hit on me couldn't even speak properly. Then prior to that, another guy who asked me out on a date was an amateur hip hop rap artist who enjoyed harassing people on the streets to buy his bootleg CDs. I've had strangers men come to tell me that I'm pretty but they wouldn't ask me for my number. Recently, the is a boy in my class who has a crush on me because he is attracted to me. But we have nothing in common. Whenever I post pictures online, I get compliments but Not from everyone though. Not everyone thinks I'm attractive.

But I see other girls who get approached a lot, men buzz around them like bees to a hive. For me, I get called pretty but no man ever looks at me. I promise you that I'm not so hot that I'm too intimidating to talk to. I have strangers ask me for directions on streets all the time. But as for getting hit on, NOBODY wants me.

You are likely over thinking this. However if there is a guy you like then what is so hard with just saying hello to him and seeing how he responds? That’s not “desperate”. If he likes you he will likely it from there. If he doesn’t he won’t follow up. But who cares? No harm no foul. Also a young woman your age never has to worry about looking “creepy”.

Anyway women have to stop waiting to always be approached in this day and age. Thing have gotten so screwed up and confusing for men that we don’t know the hell to do often. Many guys have stopped approaching women out of paranoia. After all you yourself are calling guys “creeps” and saying “we have nothing in common” about the guys who don’t want approaching you. Maybe some of them really are but is it right to call a guy you found socially awkward “creepy”? You don’t have to like him but it did take him courage to approach you. He probably speaks decent when he isn’t so nervous.

Unfortunately, for some reason, most girls are catered to like this, they get a lot of compliments throughout their youth and maybe even onwards in adulthood.

The problem is that if maybe someone is not, then they could've used the advice to maybe workout or build other qualities. Instead going on thinking it's all up to men to step it up.
It can be hard to hear that you're not born with enough natural beauty to rely on it, you know making an effort to 'get the guy' might make you more attractive sometimes, most girl can have way better looking men than they are compared on a scale with the right qualities. Though rating on a scale is usually mostly unwise.

Beautiful women have life on easy mode. They get showered with compliments and are expected to receive free things, attention, and have all guys make the first move. They never deal with rejection. Men deal with rejection a lot, especially from beautiful women. Beautiful women (and women in general these days) have an endless list for criteria for men to meet of they're going to give them the time of day. Most men have to be dead in your tracks handsome for women to even look at them. The only other real way men receive positive attention from women is to be extremely charismatic and charming. This is a lot of work. So when you parade resplendently through life wondering why you don't have a harem of men rolling out the red carpet for you to line up and chat you up. It's probably because in their heads they think you'll reject them, or they have nothing to say, or they just don't see you as worth the effort even though you're pretty. Because many beautiful women have aweful personalities because they've been given everything in life because they're pretty. So they've never had to develop a personality because they've coasted on outsourcing their brains to everyone for everything in life. There's also the issue of being labeled a creep or the high likelihood of being seen as just another guy who's trying to hit on you/get in your pants, etc. If a man is attractive and approaches random stranger women, he's seen as "confident". But if the man is less than gorgeous, he's seen as a creep who just wants to get laid. And men never really know what category they're going to land in the woman's mind at the time. Also, why should men talk to you? Do you have interesting opinions on things? Do you think independently or are your views in line with 99% of the rest of the population? What do you do that's cool and fun and want to share with a guy? What do you have that will make his time and effort in you worthwhile for him? Answer these before you get down on dudes not talking to you.

TL;DR - Men in general probably just don't want to deal with the very high probability of the random interaction with you being something they'll instantly regret.

Most guys are shy when they see a beautiful girl that catches his eye , if he thinks she is absolutely beautiful he will assume she is out of his league , so instead of you waiting for a guy to check you out turn the tables around and start checking out the guys you find attractive and approach them instead , I use to be shy when I was younger and when I saw a beautiful girl I wouldn’t say a word because I felt she would want nothing to do with me , once I broke that shyness and realized fuck it, I have nothing to lose I just started going for it and approaching girls I was interested in. , Of I got denied I got denied , if her and I connected well and carried on a conversation then I would exchange numbers with her and take it from there. So if you don’t want creepy guys hitting on you anymore , then you are best to start hitting on the guys’ you find attractive

Hard to say without any reference to your looks... But some guys would flirt with any woman so if you're not getting any there's something you're doing or not doing that's discouraging them

Because you're a woman in our society. Women are caed pretty since their birth all the time. Now you're an adult, welcome in a world were men are afraid to date/have sex with a woman because of their destructive behaviors and their allegations.
