I've been talking to a guy for almost three months and this is the first time he hasn't texted me all day except a good morning text. He works a 8 hour shift and usually after he would text me but he left me on delivered for 14 hours. Is this some should let slide so I don't appear clingy or should I address how I don't appreciate being left in the dark?
Yeah. A single day is a bit clingy. Unless it's prolonged then just assume he was having a really busy/rough day. It it continues for another day, you can ask him if he's ok, but make sure you're legitimately checking and not just making an opening to accuse him of not communicating. If he sent you the good morning text, it means he's trying in the first place and that's what counts. I'd say that it's not really a red flag unless he leaves you on delivered for several days because at that point there stops being an excuse to tell you why he behavior has changed.

Why do u want to text him 24/7. Don't u have a life?
Don't let it get under your skin: Remember this very true expression regarding relationships 'THE PRINCIPLE OF LEAST INTEREST" ... The person showing the least interest in maintaining a relationship is the one that CONTROLS IT!

Don't let his 'showing the least interest' control your relationship with him
I think you're in over your head a little. Think about what he does. If he even has his phone. When he gets out of work and can talk ask him what he does and voice your concern... if he has any respect he'll talk about it.

Damn you’re super clingy. I wouldn’t even make that much effort. And I work 24hr shifts. You would die if you were talking to me lol
Yeah. It's pretty clingy and needy.
